The surroundings
The village of Pecetto is located in a hilly area 15 km south-east of Turin and lies at 400 meters above sea level, its climate is mild and sunny.
During the 1980’s it became a desired residential area of Turin due to its proximity to the city centre and good transport system.
NATURE PARK OF THE TURIN HILL
The hills surrounding Turin became a national park area in 1991; there are 750 hectares and a variety of footpaths, cycle paths and hiking itineraries linking the main villages and landmarks such as Cavoretto, Pino, Baldissero, Superga and many more.

A very interesting visit I personally can organize is the Ecomuseum of Clay called Munlab, located in Cambiano, just a 2 km walk or cycle from Casa Kiko, through beautiful woodlands with breathtaking views.
TURIN AND THE ROYAL RESIDENCES
If you plan to spend some time visiting the Savoy city, you can not miss the royal residences: Palazzo Carignano, Palazzo Madama and Palazzo Reale, with the beautiful gardens, the Armeria and the Royal Library.
TURIN AND ITS MUSEUMS
Do not miss the most famous museums in Turin: the Egyptian Museum, the Cinema Museum, inside the Mole Antonelliana, the Sabauda Gallery, the Royal Palace with its Gardens and the Library, where you can admire the extraordinary drawings of Leonardo and Michelangelo… and many other places through which you can discover our city and its treasures… even those a little hidden!
neighboring cities
Neighboring cities such as Rivoli and its museum of contemporary art, Venaria Reale with its Reggia, Nichelino with the hunting lodge of Stupinigi, the Castle of Moncalieri, the Astronomical Observatory and the Planetarium in Pecetto Torinese, the basilica of Superga and other places of artistic interest are no more than 20 km away and can be reached quickly by the ring road or with easy hilly paths.
Cities of tourist and artistic interest are easily reached by the motorway at the entrance of Santena (TO), which is the closest.
For example: Asti 45 km, Alba 50 km, Cuneo 98 km, Bardonecchia 110 km, Sestriere 120 km, Savona 140 km, just to list some cities easily reachable even in a day.
