Rooms
There are at your disposal three independent rooms, of different sizes and with all the comforts we could imagine for you.
The rooms are named appropriately,
Silice (SiO2) , Allumina (Al2O3)
and Acqua (H2O),
the three minerals present in kaolin, the principal clay that porcelain is made of.
In the pottery studio, connected to the house, I use porcelain and stoneware (both very resistant clays fired to 1300 degrees C) to make my range of pottery for everyday use.
Acqua
A double room with en-suite bathroom on the ground floor in the north-facing part of the house with a pleasant view of our vegetable garden. This part of the house is not quite as bright as the rest but is definitely very cosy and snug.
Allumina
A double room with an en-suite bathroom and an additional single bed if requested. The room is on the ground floor and has its own private access to the outdoor decking area under the pergola, complete with table and chairs for a relaxing breakfast. The hot tub and communal areas are nearby on the same level. The room has a large, high window that brings in a lot of light and connects to the second floor where you can see my porcelain art installation appropriately named ‘Flight’.
Silice
A double room on the first floor with a large en-suite bathroom and a beautiful view and private balcony complete with a small table and chairs providing a great place for an outdoor breakfast whilst enjoying the magnificent view of the mountain Monviso as well as all the Graie and Cozie Alps.
